Perhaps time's definition of coal is the diamond –Kahlil Gibran

This noble thought has compelled me to write this blog. Have we ever wondered how many years have taken for us to evolve as a mankind…, most of us never gave a thought to it.

When a child comes out of the womb it takes years for him to speak, crawl and finally to walk. He masters the art of patience, and See the lacuna as he progresses he forgets that.

Wise men say patience is a key to success. Patience!! Is that a name of a bird? Perhaps not but in today’s context, we may say it.

Everybody is in hurry, life has become so monotonous that we seldom give a chance to wait. We want to grow and grow at such a rate that everything we want ASAP. We have got short cut to everything, this may look odd to others but are we not losing the art of perfection.
See the height of impatience, we have devised a new form of conversation and call them as SMS. Now we can’t even wait to say or write a full sentence. No, I am not pessimistic it’s just that sometimes it’s suffocating.

There is always a room to learn from the history and time and again it’s proved that Rome was not built in a day. In today’s world, we are defiantly lacking thinkers.

In the past 200 years we have developed at a very fast rate, so much so that our ancestors will envy us. But did we realize the price which we have paid? We were so impatient to showcase our inventions/discovery that we end up ourselves in a trap of unplanned industrial growth.

Now see what we have done, we have destroyed the atmosphere with our own hands. Global warming, climate changes are now part of our life. Expert says that in next 50 years to come earth temperature will increase significantly which will make the survival most difficult.

I remember reading somewhere that once Einstein was asked what he needs to carry his research works, he says nothing but a close room, a pen, a paper and a dustbin. Result was E=mc2
He was not trying to develop any technology or any complicated machine, in fact, he was trying to figure out the hidden truth which was buried in time from millions of years.
E=mc2 was a thought… handcrafted for better being of society.

If wishes were horses then beggars would have ride it.

I wish I could have this, I wish I could do this, I wish…wish… wish... Wishes are never ending.
We can’t image the world without wishes. It is this wish which has made man to fly; it is the wish only which has made the moon as our picnic spot. But they didn’t come us free; a lot of sweat and blood has gone in making this wish come true.

Most of us didn’t realize this and keep on making wishes as if some magic wind will come and make our wishes come true. Sometimes it even happens that we loose our heart if the wish doesn’t come true

I wish I could… these four lettered words are for weak peoples who feel ashamed of their failures so they end up without trying. But the fact is if we won’t try hard then how came we realize what should go is making dream come true.
This as good as “if you are not thirsty then we will not realize the importance of water” and water will always remain H2O for us.

Have you ever wonder why people die in woods… any guess… it’s because they are ashamed of, they are ashamed of been in that situations, instead of fighting they curse themselves that why this has happened to them. In this situation also they didn’t stop wishing to god to send someone to save them. As if god is a wish vending machine.

There is nothing wrong with the wishes, but those wishes should be backed from our inner sole.

lt x→∞ (software x)

Hey, that’s what you call as software that Zeros and Ones which generates millions and billions of $$s.

Yeah man, that’s what we call as software, in fact, that is a building block which has created iconic products that have changed the world forever.

Now a million $$ question - how to command the hardware’s to do the job as we wanted, for that human have logically arranged these Zeros and Ones and developed some powerful languages so that they can write a code or instructions which machines can understand.

And see what we have got an operating system which can make a dumb looking hardware into a smart & intelligent servant ready to take your orders.
We can’t even think of a day without WWW popularly know as the internet, which has made the world into a global village.
Have you ever imagined how much those Zeros and Ones float around WWW, perhaps billion or perhaps… I don’t know. Maybe ∞...

Software according to me is a mean of communication with the hardware, where we can instruct the hardware to do things as we wanted.

Today everybody wants to get connected, financial institutions want to penetrate deep inside the economy and want to reach out to people across all geographical location, and business house wants a Highly Available environment. This is not possible if we not backed by smart Softwares.

Today offices have become paperless; thanks to one of the greatest invention of all time Microsoft Office. Files and records which can take thousands of square feet of your expensive office building are now being adjusted in a hard disk, thanks to smart Database software. Now accessing a file or record is mere a mouse click away, which earlier may take a day or even week or even there are chances that you didn’t even find them.

Any technological advancement in today’s world cannot be possible without Software…
Believe me, I have thousands of examples to prove.
Ever imagined how that 3D surround sound effects get created, and that High definition audio and videos. It’s possible only by remastering the source through some highly advanced softwares. And see the result is Dolby digital surround sound or DTS surround sound which can take your breath with their amazing sound quality.

We can stretch the software’s to any level; they are highly customizable and can do things beyond the obvious.
It’s just the beginning of what software’s can do to mankind; it’s up to us to mark the limit.

There is an old saying “if you want to see how far I can fly, then ask the sky to go further” and this is not untrue to softwares.

They say the best conversation you will have is with a stranger...

Stranger!!
Yes you have heard right stranger.

Imagine your last journey and that the first smiley you have given to a stranger, done!! now lets begin the journey.
The first smile which you have made was genuine; there was no compulsion for you to do so.
You to Stranger : - Hi
Stranger : - Hello
And then you add others over there to join your boredom.

You don’t know if any one is good or bad, you even didn’t care as you know you never have to see them again.

You discuss every thing right from the defeat of Indian cricket team to the corruption in politics. I just can’t even think of what you have not discussed.
The words just oozes out of you mouth, as if you are a great gambler of words. Your free flow ness of the words may even start impressing some like minded in your so call strangers group. And who knows some of them may even become your friends.
Things were going good….

Let me remind, you didn’t even mind if some have made any strange remarks to you, and wait I can also see that without any hesitation you have said NO!! To the thinks you didn’t like (imagine if this had happen to you with someone you know….)

After a long journey you back to home. You happen to mate with a friend (I don’t know if you like him or not).
He says Hi! , you thought like ignoring him but the cosmetic smile just oozes out like any thing and you have given him a big Closeup Smile.

Sometime in life we are force to do which we really don’t want to do, we do for the sake of others. Sometime we need some to talk with whom we can share our feelings but we hesitate what he will think.

Remember!! You have made someone as your friend during journey time, now you are good friends. Did that make any difference…..?
Nothing much but the only thing is you have become more cautious towards him… every thing you say, you do has become calculated.

I won’t say that’s wrong, it’s that you don’t want to loose someone or want to hurt whom you love or care about… this creates a friction like thing between you and your thoughts. You think lot a before you say and then you are not you.

Believe me this thing won’t happen when you don’t know somebody…

Reflection

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Life is a box of chocolate

-->
Long back I had seen a movie where the character was narrating a story. He offers a chocolate to a lady and the first line he says
Life Is A Box Of Chocolate And You Never Know What You Gona Get….
Box of Chocolate and Life….you kidding me… how can someone ever compare life with a box of chocolate?
I thought to turn off the movie and go back to sleep…
Are you also thinking the same like me…?
Hold on for a sec, why not to give a second thought.
Close your eyes… Take a deep breath… Count 1 to 10… and… NOW!!
Go back to your past and think and recall few of the incidences which have turned your world upside down. Now tell me did you planned or expected everything that has happened to you…
Hummmmm….
Don’t bug me, I know you know the answer don’t you…
I am of the believe that we can’t plan our life we can only prepare ourselves for any challenges life throws at us. We can create a milestone and a bench beside that, as we knew we will be totally exhausted by the time we reach there. So we need a place to rest and to refuel ourselves to get prepared for the next challenges.
Still wondering huh…., let me put it another way…
We all are staying in a cricket crazy nation, were Dhoni’s change in hair style makes a headline, Sachin’s elbow injury will make Doctor’s sleepless night.
Now image a World cup final match between two arch rivals India & Pakistan.
Muumuu… Eden Garden no make it Mohali it’s a bating pitch and we love to see our hero’s going for boundaries.
Imagine India had a very bad season, and even in the World Cup preliminary matches, they lost to Kenya & Bangladesh. But somehow they manage to finals (I don’t know, but they did). Their ICC ratings are lowest of all time.
Now the match starts (D&N), everybody knows the team who won the toss will elect to bat first, bad luck follows India and India lose toss to Pakistan, and Pakistan elected to bat first. Pakistan has scored 350 in 50 overs. Experts (including the public) are not leaving any corner untouched to blame Indian team. Moral in India dressing room is as usual low. Half of the spectators have left the stadium.
Now the Indian innings starts, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar with Sultan of Multan Virendra Sehwag were on the crease. There is no cheering for the Indian team, complete Pin drop silence. First ball of the innings and Sehwag sent it to the boundary, and suddenly silence breaks & spectators started chanting the Sehwag’s name (how easy to break the silence of Indians).
Indian team slowly and steadily heading for the target, they were 150 in 15 overs. Both the openers have given India a much-needed start.
But… But… But… Sehwag got caught & bold at 89. Now comes the Ganguly (no offense I will choose my own team) and he also got caught at the boundary when India is at 160. Suddenly the balance of pressure shifted to India, and as usual Indian public starting cursing Indian team again.
But all is well when Sachin is at the crease. Indian batsmen were coming and going as if there is some catwalk going on. Indians were 280 for 8 in 45 overs. Shirinath and Sachin were there at the crease. India is now 339 for 8 in 49 overs.
Last, over of the match India needs 12 runs to bring home 1984 glory.
Over starts and Sachin hits for a boundary, and again hope alive in the public. Next ball and Sachin takes a single, but no… wait! he was been declared LBW, once again he was a victim of a wrong decision. India now 343 in 49.2 overs. India needs 8 more runs in just 3 balls to go.
It’s a cut-throat match; commentators are warning if someone has a weak heart then leave the stadium.
Now Balaji joins Shrinath. Balaji is facing the first ball and he takes a single. Shrinath is now on the crease and he also takes the single. Now final ball of the innings and India needs 6 runs to win this match.
Both India and Pakistan were now in pressure (Imagine if Ravi Shastri and Tony Grey were there at this time to do commentary along with Sidhu who with his ornamental English definitely add spice to a menu).
Balaji is facing the final ball and he hits it high, oh my god it’s a biggie, I think he will get caught. Whole of the stadium was dead silence as if someone has paused it, hey wait I see Pakistani fielder has caught the ball and crossed the boundary and it’s a SIX. India wonnnnnn the match.
Next day’s paper was flooded with praise for Indian cricket team (just a day back, these papers were saying that India will loose the final…. How funny….). You never know after this winning Dhoni will be made as Sports minister of India.
Now think about the whole situation again, think if we happen to know that even if India having a bad season, even if India having a bad start in World Cup will won the series….. Then do you think we will have that fun watching the match? I don’t think so…..
I won’t be long, but we will gradually lose our interest if we know what is there for us in the future. We won’t think at all and in that case, the brain will come to standstill. And we all know what will happen if brain will stop working.
So it won’t be wrong to say “Life Is A Box Of Chocolate And You Never Know What You Gona Get”...
